And by "we" I of course mean me. And by "moving" I of course mean that I have started another (subscribed, no less!) devart account. I will add all of my art to it (most of the older stuff will be in scrap, though, I think).

The Reasons...
I just want a clean break with the past. This name ties me to a lot of older stuff and I haven't really broken entirely from it. I really want my art to improve and I feel that it is, but that until I shake off the stuff that I feel is holding me back I won't really grow much.

Also, the name is unoriginal and silly. Also, I want to separate myself (the artist) from my character (Raven) so that I don't seem so egotistical (I was egotistical when I created this account, though).

Aside from that somewhat minor stuff is my belief that splitting myself into aliases actually splits my personality as well, and injures me psychologically. I have different aliases for all the different places I go, and I feel like everyone's only getting a little piece of me rather than seeing the whole thing. I actually think I'm pretty cool, but that doesn't come through on here. I am not an amazing artist, I know, but I'm not a bad one either. And few people seem to know that I study Japanese (I'm nearing fluency, but not quite there yet... Still have trouble ordering a bowl of ramen -- honestly, who wants thicky and greasy pork???) or that I've been to Japan. In turn, those people don't really know that I draw. And I also sing. And I love music. And I write, and I love writing. Oh yeah, and I'm an actress. I got the lead in my school play two years ago, and a leading role last year, too. I'm a champion of forensics and debate at my school. This all sounds a lot like tooting my own horn (and it is) but divided these achievements aren't very much and it gets me down on myself. I wanna feel better about me is all.

Chihaz is my Japanese nickame (not from Chihazuya, oddly enough (lawl thatiskindofaninsidejokenotreally), but Chiharu). Someday I will be a famous aidoru, so don't forget that. ^_^~
